Speaker Bio

Martin Jarzebowski serves as director of responsible investing leading ESG integration and active engagement across all Federated Hermes investment strategies and asset classes company-wide. He is responsible for the design and build-out of the Federated Hermes Responsible Investing Office, advancing proprietary data analytics and promoting ESG thought leadership across the industry.

During his more than 10 years with Federated Hermes, he has served as vice president, portfolio manager and senior member of Federated Hermes Proxy Voting Committee and Risk Management Committee. Martin is also an Adjunct Professor of Sustainable Finance at the University of Rochester and standards advisory board member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).

Martin graduated from Cornell University magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in applied economics, earned a master’s degree in corporate governance from the London School of Economics (LSE) and completed a post-grad in advanced risk management from the Yale School of Management. He is a CFA® charterholder and FSA charterholder.
