FROM GEN X TO GEN AI: Bridging Your Treasury Teams Across Time, Tech, and TikTok
|
|
Your most experienced treasury professionals hold decades of institutional wisdom — from navigating rate cycles to mastering the nuances of cash management that no manual ever captured. And your newest team members are brilliant, ambitious, and more likely to consult an AI tool than a colleague down the hall.
Welcome to the most consequential workforce moment in modern finance.
In this high-energy, laugh-out-loud keynote, Future of Work expert and Unlocking NextGen Talent author Luke Goetting takes AFP members on an interactive journey through today's multigenerational treasury workforce — using pop culture touchstones, generational guessing games, and audience-driven content to reveal how leading finance teams are capturing institutional knowledge before it retires, building cross-generational mentorship that actually sticks, and turning AI from a threat into a knowledge-transfer superpower.
Come ready to laugh, participate, and leave with strategies you can implement Monday morning.
Learning Objectives:
- Apply AI-powered strategies to capture institutional wisdom before your most experienced professionals walk out the door
- Design co-mentoring programs where knowledge flows in both directions — regardless of title or tenure
- Bridge communication gaps between Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z in finance environments
- Build the psychological safety that makes cross-generational collaboration feel natural, not forced

Own Your AP Process
|
|
Traditional AP automation handles clean invoices, but complex exceptions continue to drain cash, inflate costs, and burn out finance teams. In this session, Endeavor AI’s Ben Davis demonstrates how enterprise CFOs are deploying productized Agentic AI on top of existing ERPs—lessening the dependency on heavy software subscriptions—to achieve 90%+ touchless workflows. Grounded in the four pillars of agentic delivery (Return, Change Management, Process, and Data), the session highlights real-world results, including a 75% reduction in processing costs, 20% higher early-pay discount capture, and a rapid 6-to-8-week deployment. CFOs will gain an actionable blueprint to eliminate unnecessary manual workloads, reclaim working capital, and deliver a high-visibility win to the board.
